CULTURE DEPARTEMENT FOR OSTPREUSSEN IN THE OSTPREUSSISCHES LANDESMUSEUM

The culture departement of the Ostpreußisches Landesmuseum dedicate itself to the themes of Ostpreußen, historical baltic states and the colony areas of the gernan russians. The task is to inform visitors  about the varies facets of culture and history of the germans in this area.

Our cultural offer includes:

Lectures, exhibitions, workshops, conferences readings, book launches, movie screenings and concerts.

The culture departement also organizes school- projects, training for teachers and field excursions - often together with schools and other educational establichments inGermany, Poland, Russia, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania - bringing people together to have a dialogue is one of our  major concerns.
